Tell us your DHS story

In 2016 the Liberals cut $80 million and up to 800 jobs from the Department of Human Services (DHS). This is on top of millions of dollars in cuts over the last 3 years.

These cuts mean job losses but they also make it harder for the community to access important services like Centrelink and the Child Support Agency.

In 2014/15 22 million calls to DHS went unanswered- a direct result of Liberal cuts. Those who do get through can face a waiting time of up to 90 minutes.

Have you had to contact DHS recently? Did you have to wait a long time to speak to someone, or not get through at all? Have you had a great experiences with DHS employees that you'd like to share? We want to hear from you!
