The ABS is recognized around the world for the great work it does. It is an absolutely critical national institution.

The 2016 census showed that cutting staff and resources to the ABS costs us all dearly. Without good data, government can’t make good decisions. That's why we're asking Malcolm Turnbull to immediately restore funding to the ABS in this year's budget update.
