Protect our ABC

Posted on proud to be informing by Stefanie Chalmers · May 14, 2018 4:22 PM · 33 reactions

After the latest round of cuts in the 2018 Federal Budget, it is clear that the ABC cannot survive another term of the Coalition Government.

We need your help to ensure that public awareness of what the Coalition has done to the ABC continues loud and strong, well beyond the current news cycle and all the way to the next federal election - when it counts most.

We have some big ideas on how we will achieve this, and we have already taken many actions, but we need your help. If enough of us chip in a few dollars, we will be able to run a powerful campaign to get the message out and gain community support to protect our national broadcaster and support ABC staff.

This campaign will be our opportunity to show the government that Australia will not stand by and let these cuts continue.

Donate today and be a part of something big!

Our public services are run for all of us, by people just like us, Proud to be Public is a campaign run by the Community and Public Sector Union of Australia to support public service staff and services.

I'm standing with those who put the community first
